This harness is designed to provide power to a wide range of automotive electrical items which require redundant circuits or two independently switched circuits. Each circuit has a dedicated + / positive 10 gauge power wire, one red and one blue. There is one 10 gauge black ground wire. The relay coil grounds are on a common 3/8" ring terminal at the power input end of the harness. There are two + / positive relay trigger wires (pink and light blue) which are 8' long. The harness is 36" long between the power input terminals and the fuse holders, 8" long between the fuse holders and the relays. The pre-stripped power output wires from the relay are 36" long and may trimmed to length. The entire harness is covered in high-temperature nylon loom. All connections, fuses and relays are clearly labeled. Typical applications are high-performance external fuel pumps requiring redundant / fail safe power, single dual-speed fans or twin fans used in race or casually driver cars.
NOTES:
- Please note the relays and sockets used in the harness are weather resistant but not sealed. This harness is designed for applications where the relays will not be directly exposed to the elements. Racetronix offers other harnesses which use weather-tight relay assemblies for harsh environments and daily-driven cars.
- The addition of a suppression resistor or diode across (in parallel with) the relay coil is recommended to prevent damage to the solid-state drivers when controlled by a PCM or ECM.
- This harness comes pre-packed with 20 amp ATC fuses. If you require fuses for different loads please visit our fuse section by clicking >HERE<. Know you load requirements!
